Baptisms at St Paul’s
There is one body and one Spirit…one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all. Ephesians 4:4-5
We welcome new members into our faith community through the sacrament of Holy Baptism, which occurs during services of Holy Eucharist at various times during the year. Baptism is one of the fundamental sacraments of the Christian faith, and initiates people into the body of Christ by water and the Holy Spirit. In the Episcopal Church, we baptize adults, children and infants. All who seek to be baptized, parents of children to be baptized, and sponsors or godparents are asked to attend a baptismal preparation class, usually on the Saturday immediately preceding the baptism.
