The Feast of Lights
The Feast of Lights is an annual worship service that marks the beginning of Epiphany and the end of the Christmas Season and celebrates the manifestation of Christ to the world. It is scheduled to take place no later than the first Sunday in Epiphany and will next be held on January 11, 2009. The Feast of Lights service is a pageant that includes the Holy Family, the Disciples, the Wise Men and leaders of the Church. The service is notable for the Christmas hymns that are sung, the music of the Adult and Youth Choirs and the candlelight that is passed from the Christ Candle through the Disciples to the congregation.
