Dear St. Paul’s family,
It is my great privilege to serve as your Associate Rector for Pastoral Care. My hope for St. Paul’s is that the Winston-Salem community would continue to recognize us as a people who truly love one another. After all, Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). Of course, the kind of love Jesus is talking about is sacrificial action (which is why he had to command it!), and it only flows naturally out of those who have encountered the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. “We love, because Christ first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
