The Rev. Darby Everhard, Associate Rector for Christian Formation and Liturgy

Darby served as the Senior Associate Rector at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Terrace Park, Ohio before coming to St. Paul’s in September 2009. She also served as a chaplain on the Hamilton County Police Clergy Team, as well as on the roster of chaplain volunteers for the Seamen’s Church Institute River Ministry. Before ordination to the priesthood, she served as a lay chaplain at The Christ Hospital and at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Darby is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and worked in the field of laboratory medicine in Indiana and Virginia for a number of years. She graduated with a Master of Divinity from Bexley Hall Seminary in 2004, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. Previously in the Diocese of Southern Ohio, she served as a member of the diocesan Finance Commission , the Ecumenical and Interfaith Commission, the Parish Health Commission, and as Chair of the diocesan Altar Guild. Currently, she is a member of the Chartered Committee for Christian Formation in the Diocese of North Carolina. She and her husband Tom have four children and eight grandchildren.
