Lay Eucharistic Visitors

Lay Eucharistic Visitors are trained and  licensed by our Bishop to administer the consecrated elements. LEVs are assigned to a homebound communicant and make a commitment to visit their parishioner about once a month. Other LEVs serve on the Hospital Eucharist Team which takes the elements to our parishioners in the hospitals each Sunday. The consecrated bread and wine are a tangible reminder to the infirm, who often feel excluded from the life of the church, that God’s love and presence is with them.
