Lent 2010 Mite Box Contributions

We are asking that each family unit take home a mite box and contribute at least $1 per day during the forty days of Lent. Mite boxes will be available Sunday, February 14 at the back of the Nave and at other locations around the church. The boxes should be returned to the church on Palm Sunday, March 28. We encourage all parishioners to consider this project as each of us explores the Lenten theme of “Fasting and the Desert”. The monies collected will enable us to offset the cost of the dehydrated rice-soy meals and their distribution around the world.
