  • 1 pound of rice
  • 1 can of tuna fish
  • 1 can of beef stew
  • 1 pound of dry beans
  • 2 boxes of mac and cheese
  • 1 box of powdered milk
  • 1 jar of peanut butter
  • 1 can of pasta sauce
  • 2 cans of vegetables
  • 2 cans of tomatoes
  • 1 pound of pasta
  • 1 box of oatmeal
  • 1 box of cereal
  • 2 cans of fruit
  • Healthy snacks
  • Coffee
  • Cake mix
  • All toiletries welcome 

 

Thank you for your generosity supporting the wonderful work of the Second Harvest Food Bank and its participating partners.

 

The Second Harvest Food Bank of NW NC provides access to food to those people who cannot afford to feed their families thus allowing them to survive and, in many cases, to get back on their feet. Food is distributed to more than 400 non-profit partner agencies, including St. Paul’s Kid’s Café and the Summer Enrichment Program, and helps to serve people from Boone to Burlington. This past year the need was so great that the shelves of the Food Bank were bare. St. Paul’s is participating in a concentrated Food Drive through January 29. We hope that each of St. Paul’s households will be able to buy a bag of groceries that consists of the items listed below. Food may be brought to the church and placed in the large bin located in the west entrance. On Sunday, January 30, after each service, please help the Social Action committee carry all the donated goods to the truck. Each household is asked to purchase a food order consisting of the following items:
