The White Elephant Sale is held every year on Shrove Tuesday in conjunction with the EYC Pancake Supper at St. Paul's.
This sale began in 1951 by the members of the St. Cecilia Circle to provide funds for Miss Rachel Wolff in her mission to India and Nepal. In 1994, St. Anne's Circle decided this sale should become an annual Circle project for the group along with the assistance of other ECW members. Proceeds are presented to the ECW Council, which in turn divides them among the EYC Scholarship Fund and other youth-oriented community projects.

Spring and Fall Ingatherings

More than 100 years ago, the women of the Episcopal Church devised a simple way of expressing their gratitude for the blessings of each day - both large and small - that God had given them. The blue box on your windowsill or table is both a symbol and the container for the United Thank Offering. As we recognize the presence of our heavenly Father in our lives by dropping coins into the box, we help to address the needs of the world.
The money collected at the Spring and Fall Ingatherings in each parish is counted and forwarded to the Diocesan chairman. A presentation is then made to the National Church where a select committee considers the many requests that have been made. Your coins make a difference to those less fortunate!

The St. Paul's Bazaar has been held annually since 1946. One of the main goals of the bazaar is to raise funds for many charities, missions, and programs, and it is also about ECW fellowship. Bazaar workshops are held during mornings and evenings. It is a great time to for fellow church women to gather in fellowship while preparing crafts for the Bazaar sale. A Luncheon is often held during the day of the Bazaar, with a Children's Bazaar scheduled to allow the youngest members to shopd for the upcoming holidays.
